Our Story
How Abode ABA Came Home
When Two Paths Crossed, a Vision for Change Was Born.
Meet Sam.
Growing up in a home where education was a way of life—his father, a dedicated high school teacher of 3 decades in Greenwich, Connecticut, and his mother, whose warmth and instruction filled the halls of a New York City elementary school—Sam was inspired early on. Summers spent volunteering with special needs children sparked his desire to make a meaningful difference.
Then there’s Grace.
Her father ran one of the largest elementary schools in the country, and her mother led a special education program with unmatched compassion in Boston, Massachusetts. Grace naturally followed in their footsteps, teaching first grade for over a decade. But her passion grew beyond the classroom as she became dedicated to supporting students with diverse needs.
Sam & Grace Meet Up.
When Sam and Grace met, it was more than just a chance encounter—it was the beginning of something extraordinary. United by their love for education and a deep commitment to helping children with special needs, they envisioned a place where every child could thrive, no matter the challenges they faced.
Abode is Born.
This shared vision gave birth to Abode ABA, an ABA therapy company where compassionate, ethical care and innovative techniques come together to empower children and their families. Sam and Grace’s mission is simple yet profound: to provide the support every child needs to reach their full potential.
With each success story, Sam and Grace are redefining what’s possible in ABA therapy. Their journey continues, driven by a clear purpose: helping every child they work with achieve their goals and live a fulfilling life.
